July Bar Exam Scores Are Way Up, But The Number Of People That Took The Test Is Way Down

At least the early indication is that the pandemic didn’t negatively impact those who took the exam.

According to data released by the NCBE, what was the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) mean scaled score for July 2020?

Hint: Of course, because of the global pandemic, only a fraction of the usual test takers actually sat for the exam in July. This July, 5,678 examinees in 23 jurisdictions sat for the MBE, compared to 45,334 examinees in 54 jurisdictions in July 2019.
