Prosecutors Want R. Kelly Trapped In A Jail Cell For 25+ Years

He'll be sentenced at the end of the month, and faces 10 years in prison at a minimum.

Indeed, the defendant’s decades of crime appear to have been fueled by narcissism and a belief that his musical talent absolved him of any need to conform his conduct — no matter how predatory, harmful, humiliating or abusive to others — to the strictures of the law.

The defendant severely physically and psychologically scarred all of his victims repeatedly and consistently. The government has little doubt that if afforded an opportunity to offend again, the defendant would.
