Top 100 Biglaw Firm Announced Layoffs For Operations Staff

Faegre Drinker, a Biglaw firm ranked 55 on the Am Law 100, with $991,262,000 in gross revenue last year, laid off employees in their operations department. The positions were eliminated effective earlier this year, on February 9th. The firm handed out a severance package for those laid off.

The firm provided the following statement on the cuts:

Faegre Drinker eliminated a small number of support roles effective February 9, 2024, representing less than 5% of our total operations and administrative headcount. No attorney or consulting professional roles were impacted. The firm offered generous separation packages to support individuals as they transitioned from the firm.
