Jerry O'Connell, Esq.?
With royalties from Camp Wilder not the cash machine they once were, Jerry O’Connell has traded in the glamor of Samantha Who? cameos and a Crossing Jordan recurring role for something even less glamorous.
Reports Us Magazine: “Jerry O’Connell has gone back to [law] school, his rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.”
O’Connell’s new career path comes as no surprise to fans. A $160,000 six-figure salary upon graduation would mean a substantial pay increase from his cumulative prior earnings.

But where does an actor of O’Connell’s star power go for his J.D.?
The actor, 35, recently enrolled at Los Angeles’ Southwestern Law School.
“He is very excited to be starting his law school education here at Southwestern,” Leslie Steinberg, the school’s Assistant Dean of Public Affairs, tells Us. “He just had orientation last week, and he started classes this week.”
According to a tweet by a fellow classmate, O’Connell is starting as a… wait for it, wait for it… night student. Gunner 1Ls concerned about O’Connell stealing their jobs during 2L recruiting can now breathe a sigh of relief, as can Jerry’s international fan base, as filming of Piranha 3-D will continue on schedule.
