In March, New Jersey postponed their vote on recreational marijuana, with Governor Murphy citing that there were not yet enough votes to pass the bill. If it passed, New Jersey would have one of the most progressive and comprehensive cannabis bills in the country, considering issues like expungement of records and policies favoring women, minorities, and small businesses.
