Angelica Cesario

Angelica Cesario is a Program Attorney at Lawline, where she curates and develops CLE programs across a wide range of practice areas.Angelica Cesario Pic_thumb Prior to joining Lawline in 2015, Angelica was a civil rights litigator, with a particular focus on the employment context. Her work centered on protecting the workplace rights of individual employees and labor unions in New York and New Jersey. Angelica graduated cum laude from Amherst College, where she earned a B.A. in Women’s & Gender Studies, and a Certificate in Latin American and Latino Studies. After college, Angelica worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, where she focused on enforcing voting rights in jurisdictions nationwide. Angelica attended Columbia Law School, where she served as Co-Chair of the Civil Rights Law Society and Executive Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law. She earned her J.D. in 2013 and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Angelica lives in her native Brooklyn with her wife, daughter, and adorable pup named Scotty. She also serves on the Board of the TEAK Fellowship, an organization dedicated to providing quality education for gifted New York City students from low-income families. Angelica is an alumna of the program’s Pioneer Class.
