As we announced recently, we’re bringing you a new iteration of Law Jobs for Humans. It will be held November 15th in New York City and, well, it’s going to be awesome.
After some deeper consideration, we’ve decided to give you more of the Law Jobs for Humans that you liked (even more than we promised last time) and less of what you didn’t.
For example, we’re pleased to announce that this year’s event – for those who have or want radical legal careers – will feature not one, but two “Innovators’ Runways.” One Innovators’ Runway will feature legal professionals who built a radical legal career right out of law school. They didn’t “go practice first” or worry about clerking. They jumped right into uncertainty with both feet. The other will include mid-career professionals who started out in something more traditional then transitioned into their radical legal career.
These runways will be separated by a session with employers from the frontier of radical legal jobs discussing not who they hire or how they think about hiring, or even how to convince them to hire you, but instead about how to become a radical legal career professional. We’re calling this session How to Build a Human for a Law Job.
We’re also pleased to announce the names of some of those who will be joining us in New York in November. This is only the beginning. Stay glued for more information soon about Law Jobs for Humans 2.0 and who else will be there.
