Some Gloating Material for Columbia Law Folks

Okay, CLSers, so NYU Law School has surpassed you in the U.S. News rankings. But here’s some consolation: at least your law library is a zone of normalcy (as law libraries go, that is).
Late last year, NYU’s law library was taken over by a mystery smell. And now it has a new problem.
Check it out, after the jump.

From a tipster:

Apparently our crack team of NYU police can’t keep naked people from hanging out in the library. I hadn’t heard about this until I got the memo, but maybe someone who actually saw it can provide further insight.

We are all supposed to show our IDs when we come in the front door at the law school, but the security people are pretty incompetent, and someone who wanted to sneak in the building would be able to without much trouble… Not to encourage further craziness, but I can’t say I’m that surprised.

Here’s the memo:

“Inappropriate” or “odd” behavior will not be tolerated at NYU Law School. Until you have tenure.
Also: Is a naked guy in your law library better or worse than a “Jesus” freak?
