Vinny From Jersey Shore Now Lecturing Columbia Students

Giving a platform to an anti-semitic global strongman is less damaging to your reputation than allowing a cast member from Jersey Shore to address your students. Vinny Guadagnino, the "smart one" from the Jersey Shore who occasionally talks about going to law school, was actually a guest speaker in front of college students at a Columbia University class....

Inviting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak at your university is one thing. I don’t agree with what the man has to say, and he’s a dangerous crazy person — but he is the leader of a sovereign nation that plays a vital role in an important region. If you want to invite him to your campus, fine.

I bring that up to highlight the fact that giving a platform to an anti-semitic global strongman is less damaging to your reputation than allowing a cast member from Jersey Shore to address your students.

Vinny Guadagnino, the “smart one” from the Jersey Shore who occasionally talks about going to law school, was actually a guest speaker in front of college students at a Columbia University class….

If this had happened at Columbia Law School, it would be the greatest day in the history of NYU Law. Instead, it was just at the college. Gawker picks up the story:

Apparently Vinny Guadagnino, the big-dicked guido from Jersey Shore, the greatest sociological experiment of our time, was a guest speaker at a Columbia sociology class yesterday. And it sounds like the students weren’t too happy about it.

Vinny got up and spoke about bullying in Professor Diane Vaughn’s “Mistake, Misconduct, and Disaster” class.

That could be the end of the story, but luckily somebody in the Columbia student body expects more out of higher education. From TMZ:

We’re told one observer bluntly asked, “What gives you, as a cast member of ‘Jersey Shore,’ the right to interrupt this class and then lecture us on setting a good example?”

Vinny — who wasn’t big on speech and debate in high school — was predictably stumped.

Vinny, if you can’t even represent yourself, law school might not be for you.

Meanwhile, go nameless Columbia student. That was the guy or girl who sat there and remembered: “S***, I’m paying for this right now.”
