Ceglia was quite concerned about accuracy, so he only agreed to conduct an interview via email. That being the case, I have not edited his written responses to these questions in any way…
Why have you used so many different law firms?
Well it is a huge case and it requires a great deal of knowledge about a whole lot of random facts. Experts on paper, toner, computers, hacking and so on. I think a few of the law firms just couldn’t come up to speed on it all and felt like they were fighting partially blind or couldnt dedicate the time and resources to the case that it needs. Others just felt convinced that there was only one way to fight this case and if I insisted on a different strategy, that it was their way or the highway. In those instances, for me, I choose the highway.

What are your views on lawyers and the legal profession?
I guess I tend to glorify lawyers a bit, but it really is a far more interesting and exciting venue than the Friday night fights and I’ll sit with some popcorn anyday to watch a real battle of wits over a battle of brawn.
As Clarence Darrow said~
As long as the world shall last there will be wrongs, and if no man objected and no man rebelled, those wrongs would last forever.

The case has been going on for almost two years now. Has it become exhausting yet?
It gets frustrating for sure to have Zuckerbergs talking heads making up lies about me and my past, ranting in court about how frivolous the lawsuit is and so on, but I meditate and I pray to cultivate a patient mental attitude. In general I find far more satisfaction in the last laugh than all the ones that come before. The truth is now out in over 1,000 pages of expert reports that clearly show that Zuckerberg, to the detriment of Facebook, bought some carefully worded expert opinions that belong in the waste basket.
How long and far are you prepared to take it?
I helped start the first Organic Cemetery in New York State, it took me 7 years to get that going from start to finish, so I know I have the ability to go another 5 years. A lawyer friend of mine once shared an ongoing joke he called the lawyers curse “May you find yourself in court, knowing you are right” I now understand that. When you know your right, you can’t quit.
Is there anything specific you’d like to share that is particularly important about you personally or the general merits of the case, but has not been covered in the media so far?
I’ve been completely slandered by Facebook and the popular press that just seems to repeat every story Facebook makes up. I’ve started several really innovative projects, an organic cemetery, a pellet company that uses recycled wood diverted from the waste stream to create a viable fuel(that failed spectacularly) and now I have finished a prototype of an Einstein Refrigerator that uses a redesigned rocket stove that serves as a cooking station to keep food cold. It is a really viable developing world technology that not only dramatically reduces the amount of solid fuel needed to cook, but almost eliminates second hand smoke exposure to children and obviously provides a non electric, non moving part refrigerator that cools by using the secondary heat generated while cooking. So it can help reduce deforestation, eliminate smoke inhalation for children and provide a basic neccessity in the developed world, refrigeration. I’m hardly a career scam artist.
I’ve spent years practicing Non violent communication and worked to help create vehicles where others can connect to the fact that violence and judgement are most often just the tragically expressed needs of the individual.
In the case, no one in the press has bothered to read the overwhelming evidence that exists of Zuckerbergs fraud. For some reason, though everyone knows he was a lowlife back then, they find it hard to believe that he would use his now vast resources to try to refute a legitimate contract with well paid experts. Dean Boland knows this case inside and out and he would be in a far better position to tell you what you should know but dont
My opinion on Facebook is that a tool of this magnitude shouldnt be under the control of any one person, especially Zuckerberg. When I win I will force Zuckerberg under controlling interest in the company, if he is left with anything at all. Grown ups should be making the financial decisions in that company. The people should be making decisions too~
I can tell you when I win, I would place the voting control in the hands of the users, Facebook could lead the way to a digital democracy. It’s in Facebooks interests as well. If they want to still be the portal of choice 20 years from now then the people must decide through direct participation what they want their privacy policy to be. Maybe an over simplification but some things are just that simple.
