Associate Bonus Watch: Milbank Matches Cravath
Another leading law firm hops on the Cravath bonus bandwagon.
MILBANK TWEED HADLEY & MCCLOY — MEMORANDUM — 2012 YEAR-END BONUSES
The Firm is pleased to announce that we will be paying year-end bonuses to associates in the classes of 2012 – 2004. Bonuses will be paid to associates in good standing who are employed with us on the date the bonus is paid and will be subject to the usual prorations for 2012 start dates, part-time schedules and unpaid leaves of absence. Bonuses will be paid on or before January 15, 2013.
The bonus amounts for 2012 are:

Class of 2011 — $10,000
Class of 2010 — $14,000
Class of 2009 — $20,000
Class of 2008 — $27,000
Class of 2007 — $34,000
Class of 2006 — $40,000
Class of 2005 — $50,000
Class of 2004 — $60,000
Bonus decisions for specials will be determined on an individual basis and communicated separately.
