Peter Madoff, the lawyer who served as "chief compliance officer" for Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff, used to live in this big house (before getting sent to the Big House).
It’s a large house, boasting five bedrooms, and situated on more than four acres. When you enter the English colonial residence, you’re greeted by this grand staircase (click to enlarge):
Here’s the formal living room, which according to the Times is 600 square feet. That seems about right to me; check out the gigantic rug. But I’m not a fan of the pistachio paint on the walls.
