Orly Taitz Is Saying Stupid Stuff Again: Amal Clooney Edition

Now Orly Taitz is trying to drag Amal Clooney into the Birther movement.

Everyone’s favorite lawyer/dentist/right-wing whackadoo, Orly Taitz, has launched a Hail Mary effort to get her unhinged mug back on TV. Just when you thought the 15 minutes were up on the co-called Birther movement, here comes the most accomplished (probably) graduate of an online correspondence law school ever to remind us. This time, she’s got outlets tittering after she singled out Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin) to request the 2014 ATL Lawyer of the Year nominee’s support in proving that Barack Hussein Obama is a pod person. Or something.

There are plenty of reasons why a human rights lawyer may want to investigate Barack Obama. Drone targeting, GITMO, this kind of stuff. But one thing you don’t expect a human rights lawyer to care about (because it’s stupid) is whether or not Barack Obama was held up as a child — like f**king Simba — to be groomed as a secret U.S. citizen in a four decade-long project so he’d win the presidency. The long and the short of it is I don’t think Amal’s going to pitch in to help Orly out.

And Taitz must not either because she spent a good chunk of her press release explaining how much of a s**t lawyer Clooney is.

Amal is a human right attorney, known for her representation of Julian Assange and Yulia Timoshenko, even though she was a failure in both cases, she was not able to free either one of them. Assange is still hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy and Timoshenko sat in prison until the Maidan revolution in Ukraine. However, Clooney is being promoted as this great attorney, possibly due to her efforts to embarrass the government of Egypt, which stopped Obama supported Muslim Brotherhood uprising.

Yeah! And how great a lawyer can she really be if she didn’t pass dental school too?

Seriously folks, Taitz shamelessly tried to newsjack a famous actor’s wife for cheap publicity earnestly feels the U.S. court system’s continued aiding and abetting of the Obama presidency’s illegality is the human rights issue of our time and one deserving of the talents of the most recognizable human rights attorney in the world.

Because the whole system is corrupt according to Taitz, with judges tossing her meritless claims and important evidence getting removed from the record (because Taitz doesn’t understand redactions). Frankly, this is just like the legal system run by the governing military junta in Egypt that Amal Clooney is famously fighting.

But just in case you’re taking score, Taitz is actually comparing the fact that people don’t believe her after the weight of evidence embarrasses her in court to a system that imprisons (or maybe worse) reporters. Unfortunately, a sizable segment of the American populace sees the same equivalency. There’s your working definition of American Exceptionalism: our inconvenience is the same as your torture and genocide. Deal with it!

Anyway, Taitz sees no downside here:

Regardless of what Amal Clooney does, it is a win-win situation for us. If she chooses to investigate Obama’s usurpation of the US presidency with bogus IDs, it is great, we might get closer to removal from office and criminal investigation of Obama. If she does nothing, we’ll expose yet another liberal phony.

Ouch. The “L” word will really put a wrinkle in her human rights street cred.
