Meet Texas lawyer John Kim. He has a sweet cartoon that introduces his practice and mad lawyering skillz. He touts himself as the “Asian Columbo,” “smart like a fox” and “really, really, really good” — and because these boasts are accompanied by deliberately imperfect animation, he comes across as a decidedly earnest and heartfelt good guy rather than an a**hole lawyer.
Then at the :40 mark he takes a swing at Biglaw. Screw an Ivy League education and relevant terminology when you can hire yourself the unfrozen caveman lawyer, able to speak to juries in the simplest of terms:
