Event Alert: MedCity News/ATL Town Maul On March 10th

Screen Shot 2016-02-29 at 11.37.46 AMMedCity News and Above the Law will be hosting a “Town Hall” style event about Healthcare, the 2016 election, and what, if anything, the candidates know about the issues. Our health industry expert will talk about the issues facing actual practitioners and entrepreneurs, and our legal expert will talk about how new regulations could affect people on the ground. We’re calling it a Town “Maul” because getting doctors and lawyers in a room to talk about politics is kind of like getting lions and hyenas in a room to talk about carcasses.

Questions will include:

What does Bernie Sanders think “Medicaid for all” actually means?
When Ted Cruz “repeals every word of Obamacare,” what’s left?
What, if anything, is Donald Trump talking about?

Moderated by Chris Seper of MedCity News and Elie Mystal of Above the Law, we expect there will be a lot of participation from our audience of people who think about these issues as more than soundbites to be included in party stump speeches.

We’re doing this March 10th (before candidates who can’t win their home states drop out), at Stoney’s in Washington, D.C. We start at 7:00 with an open bar, and end when Martin Shkreli offers to buy the room a round of injections.
