Small Law On ATL Is Huge

Today we are thrilled to announce the addition of two of the most influential and respected voices in the solo and small-firm space to the ATL network.

APP-logo-oct-2016The editorial scope of Above the Law evolves and expands to reflect both audience demand and industry realities. One of the most significant of these “realities” is that a substantial majority of U.S. lawyers practice in a small-firm setting. (Law firms employ three-quarters of all attorneys and 95% of firms have 20 or fewer lawyers.)

For years, ATL has been proud to publish an unmatched depth and range of content for solo and small firm lawyers, with contributors — all successful practicing lawyers themselves — sharing insights and events on everything from practical technology solutions to advice on business development. Now we are taking our content in this crucial area to the next level.

Today we are thrilled to announce the addition of two of the most influential and respected voices in the solo and small-firm space to the ATL network: Robert Ambrogi and Carolyn Elefant.

Bob has been writing and speaking about the intersection of the legal practice and the internet since 1993, and currently divides his time between his practice and media consulting. Among the many outlets to which Bob contributes is his own LawSites. Carolyn created MyShingle.com, the very first blog dedicated to serving solo and small-firm lawyers and those who yearn to start a practice, back in 2002. She is also the author of Solo by Choice: How to Be the Lawyer You Always Wanted to Be (affiliate link) wherein she provides a roadmap for using 21st century technologies to build a legal practice.

Welcome Bob and Carolyn! In other, ATL solo and small-firm happenings:
