With allegations that the Russians are behind the recent DNC email hack, pressure is mounting on the Republican nominee to provide the American public with tax returns that will demonstrate the scope of his relationship with the country. Donald Trump is the only Republican nominee in the last nine elections to not release tax returns. Since that time, who is the only other party nominee that refused to release their tax returns?

Hint: Don’t get too excited, Trump supporters — the other party nominee who didn’t release tax returns since 1976 wasn’t a Democrat. It should also be noted that a handful of candidates that never made it out of the primaries also dodged releasing their tax returns.
