The following job cropped up on a major online job board under the “Legal/Criminal Law” category.
“[F]ictitious federal circuit” and a pdf of all necessary materials certainly sounds like a law school writing assignment. And it’s practice-ready education too — it’s good for students to learn that in the real world, “specialized experience” is legal code for “cops can justify any search they want and most judges will rubber stamp it” sooner rather than later.
Still, I think we’ve finally hit on a good argument against law school tuition cuts. Squeeze students hard enough and they don’t have that extra grand lying around to try to circumvent the system.
