Tiffany Trump Has Picked Her Law School
Where's Tiffany Trump going to law school?
After weeks of “Where’s Tiffany?” reports that followed the presidential daughter from Harvard to Columbia to NYU, we’ve finally learned where she’s going to go to law school next year.
And with that, students at every other school she visited are ecstatic today that they won’t have to deal with a Secret Service frisking every time they “walk of shame” their way into a 9 a.m. Property lecture to hear gunner Tiffany explain why eminent domain is essential for limousine parking lots or some such. (Or not… she’s the sociology major, so there’s no guarantee she buys all this garbage.)
So which elite T14 school will she attend in the fall?

None of them.
Which is to say that Tiffany is definitely still going to law school next year. She’s just not going to any of the T14 schools because she’s going to attend Georgetown (UPDATE: Also check out this write-up from the Daily Mail complete with an Eric Trump quote).

Tiffany Trump, the 23-year-old daughter of President Donald Trump, will be attending Georgetown Law School in the fall, a representative for the family confirmed.
She had previously toured Harvard Law School last December. But her chosen school is much closer to her father and half-sister Ivanka Trump. The law school is about a mile-and-a-half walk from the White House and is ranked 15 by U.S. News and World Report.

Yes, “15.”
That’s not to say that Georgetown isn’t still a world-class, institution. The T14 was always completely arbitrary as a definition of quality and the fact that it’s been jumped one spot doesn’t diminish its reputation in the eyes of sophisticated observers. But we’re talking about lawyers here, so everyone’s falling all over themselves to make fun of Georgetown. The mockery even made it into our annual Law Revue contest.
Perhaps the school has earned some of this tomfoolery by tacitly promoting the misconception that the 14th position in U.S. News kept it a hard leap ahead of whatever poor saps landed at 15. There’s some schadenfreude there. However, at night, when the demons come, everyone realizes Georgetown hasn’t been much better than schools ranked 15-20 for years.
No doubt there will be some haters making fun of Tiffany for going to the “forgotten T14” school. There’s certainly a sentiment out there that Georgetown’s best days are behind it — that despite its proud tradition it’s just not elite anymore. That would be very sad for such a really, very tremendous school. Apparently Tiffany sees past all that. Perhaps she’s decided that…
