Many people, myself included, are very happy at the firm. The culture and colleagues, in particular, cannot be beat. However, satisfaction is highly dependent on practice group. Advocacy and corporate associates seem the happiest, and regulatory associates lead a very different lifestyle due to poor leadership.
As a junior, I am pleasantly surprised how active a role I get to play in my cases. Partners are supportive generally.
