Lawyerly Lairs: Cravath Cribs (Part 2)
(Partner parts with Park Avenue property.)

Let's take a look at the Carnegie Hill neighborhood of the Upper East Side, where a Cravath partner recently sold his ultra-luxurious residence -- for a whopping $4.6 million. Interestingly enough, the buyer is a lawyer as well, in-house counsel at a major media company. Who are the parties to this transaction? And what does a $4.6 million apartment look like?

The decor scheme of dining room, with wallpaper and carpeting that are busier than the Apple store at Grand Central, makes my eyes hurt:

And this bedroom is proof that there is such a thing as too much chintz:

Note how the floral chintz has metastasized throughout this room. It apparently traveled from the rug up through the bedskirt, from the bedskirt up the bedpost to the canopy, from the canopy to the wallpaper trim, and from the wallpaper trim around the corner over to the curtains. AHHHH!!!

What does the kitchen look like?
