As you probably noticed, China is at the top here, which is fascinating. The U.S. is also behind France and Germany, even though both countries have a higher cost of living than the U.S. Luckily, American lawyers can still claim the totally meaningless title of living in the most lucrative English-speaking country.
As a side note, under the cost of living section, how in the world did they come up with 75 bucks as the average cost of a meal for two, even in New York City? Is this to suggest most lawyers don’t subsist on cheesesteaks and burritos? Dang, maybe I need a new line of work….
