Biglaw Blind Item: Partner Payment Problems?

Which law firm is the next Dewey & LeBoeuf? Well, how about a law firm where partner draws are delayed?

We have previously asked our readership: Dewey Know Who’s Next? Do we know of any major law firms that might be following the bankrupt Dewey & LeBoeuf into the dustbin of history?

How about: a firm that’s having problems paying its partners? That brings us to today’s Biglaw blind item….

This is actually a very simple blind item — mostly because we don’t have more details. All we will say for now is that we’re hearing of an Am Law 100 and Vault 100 law firm where some partners don’t know when they will next be getting paid. It seems that they’re experiencing some delays in their draws. As you may recall, the Dewey saga started with delayed payments to partners.

We might do more about this — and even reveal the name of the firm (or firms?) in question — if we can obtain additional details and corroboration. If you have solid and specific information, please feel free to email us or text us (646-820-8477).
