DESCRIPTION
We are a small but very busy law office specializing in medical malpractice, products
liability, personal injury, and auto accidents. We have an internship/paralegal/junior attorney
position available for 2013. If you’re the right candidate:
• You want to learn real world law practices from Plaintiff’s attorneys who have
won multi-million dollar trial verdicts.
• You want the opportunity to immediately assist in preparing a complex case
scheduled for trial this November.
• You want to know how to properly set up and maintain case files both
electronically and on paper, and how to archive the cases upon completion.
• You want to gain experience in working with clients, medical offices, insurance
companies, etc.
• You want to expand your ability to research and write effectively.
• You want to work in a friendly, relaxed, learning atmosphere.
• You are computer literate and have a working knowledge of Windows XP, 7,
Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, and can type at least 40 words per minute.
LexisNexis, FastCase knowledge is a plus.
The Fine Print:
This position is full-time. You will need dependable transportation. Ability to work
nights and weekends during trial is a plus, but not required. As with any entry-level position, you
will participate in the basics – answering phones, copying, scanning, filing, etc. But this is also a
firm where you will obtain a well-rounded perspective into many areas of the practice of law. No
pigeon-hole positions here; we believe in much more than the basics. We want to grow your
understanding of the application of the law and sharpen your skills into a strong legal asset.
Interested? Send your resume to admin@[something]lawgroup.com. We will contact you to
book an appointment.
