Another bar exam season, another tech screw-up. I am sensing a definite trend here. At least this time the error wasn’t experienced by folks in the middle of taking the exam. Now the issue is trying to access MPRE scores for the March 2015 test-takers.
We first got wind of it this morning:
Got an email over an hour ago that my MPRE score was available on the NCBE website. Unfortunately, the NCBE website isn’t equipped to handle the web traffic. Been over an hour, and I still can’t access my score. As far as I know, none of the March 2015 test takers have been able to access their scores. Why couldn’t the NCBE just email out the scores instead of directing us to a website that is woefully incapable of handling the web traffic?

We hoped resolution of the issue would be forthcoming. Alas, the issues are ongoing:
Looks like the NCBRE website is down on account of sending out the MPRE scores. Yet again, the industry unable to cope with the internet.
At least one law student has perspective on the situation:
Probably not that newsworthy when compared to other current news events (Nepalese earthquake, Baltimore riots, etc.), but the MPRE scores from March were supposedly released today and the site has been crashed all day. Law students truly are a neurotic bunch.

UPDATE (3:25 p.m.): March 2015 MPRE takers just received this email message:
Date: April 28, 2015 at 3:09 PM EDT
Subject: March 2015 MPRE scoreNCBE is experiencing technical problems with its website that it is working to resolve. Until the problems are fixed, you will not be able to access your March 2015 MPRE score. Also, due to the confidential nature of scores, NCBE employees do not have access to them and cannot provide them over the phone.
NCBE apologizes for the delay and appreciates your patience. We will send another email when the site is repaired. Until then, please do not try to access your NCBE account to retrieve your score.
