Where Does Deflategate Go From Here? A Conversation With NFLPA President Eric Winston

What does the NFLPA President have to say about Deflategate?

You have to hand it to the NFL for always keeping things interesting. Not satisfied with simply owning the sports headlines, the NFL dominated mainstream headlines this summer by suspending Tom Brady over the accusations that he deflated footballs to gain a competitive advantage. Immediately after the suspension was handed down, sports law expert Steph Stradley and I argued that Brady should sue the NFL and that he would win. We doubled down on this prediction after the recent hearing in the Southern District of New York.

Now that the Brady has won, I wanted to talk with our pal, Bengals offensive lineman and NFLPA President, Eric Winston, and get his reflections on the league’s most recent black eye. We are very grateful to Eric for answering questions in the week leading up to his first game of the season.
