My favorite reoccurring issue is “I thought I died.” For instance, the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12 experienced a vision of the “third heaven” and heard inexpressible things uncertain whether he was in the body or out of the body. That compares very well to the lyrics of Tool’s song Rosetta Stoned about being caught up to hyperspace in a DMT session: “It was so real, like I woke up in Wonderland” / “They showed me something. The Emerald Tablet identifies a unique phenomenon, “three parts of the philosophy of the whole world.” I have “three parts of the philosophy of the whole world.” My working hypothesis is that my “three parts of the philosophy of the whole world” make intelligible the entire Emerald Tablet, although there is obscurity in some lines that mystifies me. Regardless, it rudely intruded in to my life and demanded recognition.

I am prepared to take seriously “truth is a woman.” As a philosopher of the future with the stone, I’ll take it from here. With metaphysical certainty, dogmatists need only a coffee enema or Holosync meditation along with a suggestion to drop the “judgments, interpretations, labels, and comparisons” that prop up their “weak reality.” The enema and meditation produce optimal “unreactivity” for a sensible masculine polarity. After that, it is acceptable to construct an interesting personal universe.

Nietzsche is interesting to the extent that the “self-overcoming” of an overcoming, transcending, transvaluating man, the Napoleonic UberMensch, might be comparable to alchemical transformation. “Is the evolution real?” should be a serious inquiry, one for which Nietzsche scholars such as Brian Leiter at the University of Chicago Law School have no frame of reference. Leiter’s blog might compare Nietzsche to post-modernism or Darwin, but he couldn’t compare Nietzsche’s search for a “life affirming” philosophy encompassing every impulse to Anton LaVey’s celebration of lust and other values denied by Christianity. Nietzsche’s own madness was not unlike an unfinished alchemical evolution. Did he drink absinthe, eat amanita (highly unlikely without an expert pied minstrel), or take LSA?

The Masons went out of their way to fund Dr. Strassman’s research of DMT. By doing so they betrayed the traditional secrecy surrounding their sacramental use of hallucinogens. That is informed speculation. The Masons trace their history back to the Egyptian Mystery System. In Exodus 7:11 the pharaoh convenes “sorcerers, magicians, and wise men” who represent the Egyptian Mystery System and all of who were supernaturally distinct due to their use of hallucinogenic drugs. The Masonic connection could feed speculation that initiation into Yale’s Skull and Bones involves hallucinogens. Relatedly, Isaac Newton suffered a series of “nervous breakdowns” after he “dabbled in the occult.” Newton was blindsighted. It was the same psychosis that a predictable percentage of LSD users experience when working through the jagged epiphanies produced by the drug. Isaac Newton and LSD psychosis are expected eventually to pitch a fit about the Masons, at which point they should join.

Dr. Strassman’s reading of the Old Testament implies that DMT might also be found in the New Testament. It could be the “secret” Jesus shared with the disciples in Mark 4:11. According to The Gnostic Gospels by Elaine Pagels, the Gnostic teacher Valentinus taught that an inner, secret initiation was a required counterpart to outer, formal doctrine. It was nearly explicit room reserved for a hallucinogenic sacrament. The word “entheogen” is now more appropriate than “hallucinogen.” Many scholars speculate that the Eleusinian Mysteries in Greece involved entheogenic wine. Whether the culture is Greece, Gnosticism, or Egypt, the “secret” concealed by complex strata is an entheogen. Conservative theologians want you to believe that orthodox Christianity is a bizarre outlier.

Not only is it possible to read DMT between the lines of religious thought, it also surfaces on the world stage as the “revolution,” Napoleon not Marxism. Heaven at hand is the revolution afoot and evolution ahead. With regard to “revolution,” “evolution,” or a “real solution,” The Beatles intone “We’d all love to see the plan.” Offhand curiosity might next inquire whether Jewish rebellions could have re-discovered the secret to the “kingdom of God” only to see it take shape as “revolution.” The relationship between the Masons and the revolution requires more research.

To put South Park back on the map, Cartman should explain Gnostic references from Francis Ford Coppola, Edgar Allen Poe and Jim Morrison to interesting science fiction authors. Cartman has a theory that the Japanese emperor was divine, the US was run by Masons, and the Nazis were deeply in to the occult according to the History Channel and Indiana Jones. It was all the same divinity. The Pope himself never denounced it all as New World Order Satanism, perhaps because “the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes” (Dan. 4:25).

In recent years, NYU School of Law, class of 450, has used me as a writing assignment in its Legal Writing class. To use a famous phrase, I am a “law school sleazebag” who once spent a little time on a message board much like 4chan. The writing assignment never mentions that the self-styled “sanctimonious women’s studies set” stole bookmarks from my laptop to play deranged cat-and-mouse games. First, they wanted to be gumshoes, gumshoes that just so happen to have their classroom’s bookmarks. Second, if hunted me down with my own bookmarks, that would be a compliment, which their sense of popularity would never give to me. My classmates muttered “publication,” “date rape,” and “MySpace” in my direction if I was the one getting away with it, all of which was easy to deny to myself as paranoia. It is true that some sympathetic men were sent my way, but I turned them down. In 2008 two nasty parody websites were dedicated to me, one at PlentyOfFish.com, the other at www.MyLifeWith____.net. Both my friends and the doctors insisted to me I made up my classmates. The subject of the Legal Writing assignment is that I retaliated on a message board, posted only briefly and now better lost in time, when the stigma of stolen bookmarks became a condition of my employment at a major firm. In the alternative, “Lateral us.” I have a top-tier J.D., and I must still pay off my student loans. I envision publishing “reform-minded,” “radical” legal scholarship that inserts the coffee enema, Holosync meditation, and entheogens anywhere they contribute to the law.
