Associate Raises: A General Counsel And Managing Partner Webcast

Please join us for what should be a lively and interesting discussion.

Heap Of Money2016 is the year of the great salary increase, in both Biglaw and leading boutiques. After nearly a decade of salary stagnation, Cravath set the new MoneyLaw standard in early June, and we’ve been keeping pace with the developments ever since then.

Most of the coverage at Above the Law has focused on the associates already ensconced in law firms’ warm (read: smothering) embrace. They want paper proof their firms respect them as much as Cravath does, otherwise they’ll be on the phone with recruiters.

But what do law firm leaders and their clients think about the pay raises? We previously discussed the salary increases with Professor Bill Henderson, one of the most astute observers of Biglaw in legal education. Now it’s time for the managing partner and general counsel perspective.

I will be moderating a panel featuring the following distinguished speakers:

  • John Hueston, Partner at Hueston Hennigan LLP
  • Arash Mostafavipour, EVP, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Xome
  • Michael Allen, Founder and Managing Principal at Lateral Link

Please join us this Thursday at 1:30 p.m. EST in this enlightening webcast, and follow along using the #MoneyLaw hashtag on Twitter.

You can register here for a reminder, but email is not required to watch live.

Thank you to Lateral Link for sponsoring what should be a fascinating discussion!
