Alternative Careers In Law, Featuring A Bunch Of Guys With Alternative Careers In Law

The most fun you'll have learning about alternative career paths.

CrRtXWEUIAAP1LG.jpg-largeIn a podcast that is, perhaps, not a shining testament to diversity, the ABA Law Student Division podcast marshaled a bevy of… well, white guys, to talk about where they’ve taken their legal educations.

The diversity problem aside (a function of trying to grab people at a busy conference), host Sandy Gallant-Jones led an extended discussion digging into law school advice, practice insights, and keeping open to new, unorthodox alternatives as you progress through your legal career. In addition to me, her guests included Chas Rampenthal, GC and Corporate Secretary of LegalZoom; Joshua Lenon, Clio’s lawyer-in-residence; Chad Burton of CuroLegal; and, Laurence Colletti, a producer at Legal Talk Network.

We had a lot of fun with this one. This group really should have its own show.

Plus it’s a great picture of me. At least until you start zooming in on that shadow under my nose that makes me look just a wee bit… let’s say “Charlie Chaplin-y.”
