Heading to Paris with your new love interest is great, but maybe don't leave the kids home alone.

Co-parenting with a former spouse is not easy. And with the demands of a Biglaw job at a firm like Jones Day, well, there are a lot of obligations that must be juggled. You know, like heading to Paris with your new love interest.

According to court filings, Locke McMurray left his two kids, aged 10 and 16, at home with his new paramour’s kids while they jetted off to Paris. Now his ex, Jennifer McMurray, is taking the issue to court, as reported by the New York Post:

Locke McMurray, a partner at the NY-D.C. firm Jones Day — where another partner, Donald McGahn, was recently named counsel to the Trump White House — allegedly let the 10 – and 16-year-old boys stay home alone in his apartment during his jaunt last January.

The childless trip was revealed only after his ex wife found online pics of him and gal pal Diana Rose Canlas enjoying the City of Light.

“I found out on Facebook,” Jennifer McMurray, told The Post.

Yikes.

After this incident Jennifer is seeking sole custody, instead of their current shared agreement:

The couple’s divorce agreement says the 52-year-old lawyer must notify his former spouse if he leaves town during his time with the boys, Jennifer said. He is also required to hire an adult babysitter, she said.

“He did not do any of those things,” she said.

The McMurrays had agreed to share custody of their boys when they finalized their divorce last year. But now Jennifer wants sole legal custody. She’s also wants the court to impose a $50,000 fine on her ex for breaking their divorce settlement.
