The deadline for submitting entries to Above the Law’s annual Law Revue Video Contest is less than a week away — so don’t delay! And please be sure to follow all the rules, or we’ll refuse to accept your filing.
Some of you might be thinking, “We’re just a bunch of law students, more known for our highlighting than our high notes. How can we pull this off?”
Well, if your professors can do it, so can you. Check out this band composed of tenured professors at the UC Davis Law School, performing at the school’s annual Aokirama talent show. Angela Harris plays the law professor, and Bill Dodge plays the law student (with a mean falsetto). Tom Joo is on guitar, Rose Villazor is on drums, and Carlton Larson is on piano. Harris and Villazor penned the (quite clever) parody lyrics. Behold:
