Check Out The Pics From This Swanky Biglaw Party At The Met

Looks like one hell of a party.

Turns out, Biglaw knows how to throw a party. Last night, White & Case threw an epic shindig at none other than the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They transformed the iconic Temple of Dendur into a tremendous party space to celebrate their sponsorship of a new exhibit at the museum, Thomas Cole’s Journey: Atlantic Crossings.

The exhibit, on display until May 13, 2018, celebrates the work of Thomas Cole. Cole was a nineteenth century landscape artist known as the founder of the Hudson River School, an artistic movement known for romantic depictions of the wilderness. As Jack Pace, executive partner of the New York office, notes, Cole’s work has a lot in common with the firm:

“We sponsored the exhibit for a couple of reasons. First, we are not only part of the New York legal community, but also of its larger cultural and business community. Supporting an institution like the Met is important to us as citizens of the city. Second, the Thomas Cole exhibit speaks to what our firm is about. Cole was an artist who spent a large part of his career traveling between New York and London, the cities in which our two largest offices are located. Our lawyers work very closely with each other on both sides the Atlantic, as well as throughout our global network. The transatlantic nature of Cole’s career mirrors our own history as a firm; we’ve been in New York for more than a century and London for nearly 47 years, so it was a very appropriate exhibit to support.”

But enough about all that, let’s take at look at the party pics:
