The Utah State Bar sent out a reminder for its spring convention. The subject line said “2018 Spring Convention Walk-Ins Welcome! Learn How!” The body contained a banner for the bar association, a picture for the spring convention (March 8-10 in St. George, in case you are wondering), and a naked woman shown only between the neck and belly button.

Well, I’m assuming it was a woman. The picture didn’t have, like, a head of anything. Mainly it was just a pair of breasts. Natural, I thought. Though, without knowing the inclination of their owner one cannot… wait, I should stop.
OH, there was also a reminder that walk-in registrations would be accepted until Thursday at 5:30. So if you powered through to the end of the email, there was a reward.
Based on the number of people who have emailed in, it would appear every lawyer in Utah is on the Utah Bar listserv and received the message. As one understated man put it:
“It was quite jarring to open up on my work computer haha. Guess it is a good use of my bar dues…”

Apparently we have an email sent that has an offensive image on it. I deeply apologize for this and am investigating the cause.
