Associate Salary Increases | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In recognition of your significant, ongoing contributions to Goodwin’s collective success, the Management Committee is pleased to announce that the firm is increasing associate base salaries in our U.S. offices as follows:
The increase will be effective July 1, 2018 and will be retroactively reflected in the July 25, 2018paychecks. Summer associate salaries will be increased to $3,650 per week effective July 1, 2018 as well. We will continue to pay market salaries to associates in offices outside of the U.S. We are evaluating the impact of the increase to the associate salary scale on our counsel and other professional track attorneys on a case-by-case basis and expect to communicate the impact individually. Any change to compensation for professional track attorneys will also be effective July 1, 2018. In addition, we will pay a bonus to associates in our U.S. offices who are in good standing as of July 25, 2018 as follows:
For this special bonus only, we will use an 1,850 hours threshold and will look at whether you have achieved this target based on your annualized hours for fiscal year 2018 through May 31, 2018. These bonuses will be subject to proration based on start date, part-time and leave arrangements. Bonuses for counsel and other professional track attorneys will be determined on an individual basis and will be communicated separately.
