Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is apparently a show on the CW that has nothing to do with DC superheroes. If this clip is any indication, it may be time to start watching this show regularly. They’ve got a music video to discourage prospective lawyers and they manage to nail everything wrong with this mixed-up profession we’ve gotten ourselves into.
It’s hard to even pick the best line. Is it “the job is inherently crappy, that’s why you’ve never met a lawyer who’s happy” or “there’s so many other professions that don’t turn you into Jeff Sessions”? Or perhaps another of the song’s many clever lines strikes your fancy.
