Good morning, I want to start your day by thanking you for a strong year, collectively and individually. Our stellar associates continue to be a point of pride for Wiley Rein’s partners and firm leadership.
We told you we would continue to look at associate compensation in light of salary increases across the country this year. To keep our compensation competitive and to reflect the value you bring to the firm, we have decided to increase your salaries for 2019.
First-through third-year associates will earn $190,000, $200,000 and $220,000, respectively. And fourth-through eighth-years will earn individualized, merit-based salaries, consistent with our current approach to senior associate compensation.
Salary increases will take effect on January 1, 2019.
Ben Eggert and Kay Nash will meet with individual associates starting Monday to relay your 2019 compensation and 2018 bonus determination.
