While Cobb clearly does not agree with Trump’s characterizations of the investigation, he said that he thinks his onetime boss will be exonerated — at least when it comes to Russian collusion. Cobb offered these wise words for Trump as to when the investigations of his administration will come to an end: “It’s never gonna be over. This will go through 2020. And if the president’s reelected, it’ll go beyond that.”
