Best True Crime Documentary — The Finals

Which movie has your vote for best true crime documentary?

Well, it all comes down to this. The battle to be the best of the true crime documentary genre has come down to two classics.

On the one hand, we have the overall number one seed, The Jinx. The story of Robert Durst — and the deaths that surround him — his wife Kathie, writer Susan Berman, and Durst’s neighbor Morris Black — is unforgettable. Most notably what Durst said off-camera, but while mic’d up — “What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course” — and that Durst was arrested right before the final episode aired on first-degree murder charges, make it a modern classic.

On the other side we have the little movie — a 12 seed — that has been making waves in our bracket. Abducted in Plain Sight is an absolutely wild ride about the kidnapping of Jan Broberg Felt. Just when you think the twists and turns are over, there are even more.

So which movie is the best? Well, that decision is up to you.

(1) The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst v. (12) Abducted In Plain Sight
