At first blush this post may seem a bit… familiar. Didn’t we just do this round of voting in the True Crime Bracket? Well, loyal reader, you are not wrong. Unfortunately, Above the Law experienced a database meltdown last week, which meant the data tables got out of sync and some plugin data was lost, including these polls. So rather than try and fudge the results, we are re-running the Elite Eight and I’m dying to know which of these great entries will advance to the Final Four.
We are down to our Elite Eight (again). And there are four great matchups across the two sides of the bracket —- and two Cinderellas are still alive. So without further ado, let’s get down to voting.
(1) The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst v. (4) Making A Murderer
Two classics of the medium are going head to head here. Which will you vote for: Robert Durst’s arrogance or Steven Avery’s legal woes?

(7) The Keepers v. (3) Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes
Will the underdog The Keepers be able to keep their winning streak alive? The unsolved murder documentary goes up against the very much solved, but chilling, crimes of Ted Bundy.

(2) Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills v. (3) Evil Genius: The True Story of America’s Most Diabolical Bank Heist
Our last matchup puts the devastation of Paradise Lost against an overly involved bank robbery plot that went terribly wrong.

Polls are open until noon eastern on Friday. Happy voting — for real this time!
