Yes, there is yet another ranking of Biglaw firms. But that isn’t surprising — lawyers just love knowing exactly where they stand vis-a-vis their competition. Now that Am Law has rolled out their annual list of the Global 100, we know everyone is curious to see just how the rankings shake out.
First the good news: Overall, the Global 100’s gross revenue grew by 8.1 percent, bringing that number up to $114.2 billion, handily beating last year’s growth of 6.4 percent. And while the United States dominates the list — 77 of the firms on the list have the bulk of their attorneys here — the international presence is growing, with 12 firms having more U.K. lawyers than any other and 5 Chinese firms cracking the list.
While you can — and should — check out the full list of the Global 100 firms at Law.com, we’ll cut to the chase and share the top 25 firms in the Global 100 ranked by gross revenue.
