Justice Sotomayor Throws First Pitch At Nationals-Phillies Game, Probably Should Join Phillies Rotation

A night at the ballpark before the October Term.

Eclipsed by all the other despicable things about Brett Kavanaugh was the financial revelation that this pud was tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands in debt at any given time. While some speculated at the time that this could be the result of ethically shady behavior, Kavanaugh claimed it was all those primo Washington Nationals tickets he bought.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor attended the Nationals-Phillies game last night to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and managed to not go into crippling, suspicious debt in the process. Who could have thought it possible! This, of course, isn’t Justice Sotomayor’s first trip to the mound (or at least the area several feet in front of the mound) — the hardcore Yankees fan has tossed the first pitch at the Bronx in the past — but she decided to give the National League some love this time.

With the league’s 16th ranked ERA, the Phillies should have signed Sotomayor on the spot.
