Biglaw Firm Related To Royalty
Biglaw firm's genealogy.
Answer: DLA Piper. The firm’s founding goes back to Thomas Townend Dibb (1807–1875) and Sir Charles Lupton OBE (1855–1935), and Lupton is related to the Duchess. Interestingly, Dibb was married to Elizabeth Piper — no relation to the Piper in the firm’s current name, which comes from the firm’s merger with Baltimore-based Piper Rudnick in 2005.
