George Floyd’s death, and the events surrounding his death, underscore the racial divide and unequal distribution of justice that still exist in the United States and around the world. Every person is entitled to the protections of the rule of law, and we all stand united in condemning racism, and all forms of discrimination, that undermine those protections. George Floyd’s death reminds us how far we still have to go to achieve the promise of equality that our Constitution makes to each of us. Today we have added a new first page to the BSF website reaffirming the firm’s commitment to racial equality and equal justice under the law.
