Dear team,
We are approaching the end of what can only be described as a truly unprecedented year, a year that has brought both personal and professional challenges of a type we could never have foreseen a year ago. As a team, we have met those challenges head-on, and the Firm is set to end 2020 in a very strong position and on course to meet the majority of the targets set out in our five-year 2020 strategy. This is a remarkable achievement considering all that we have been through.

I am immensely proud of the role that each of you have played in contributing to our success, and the way in which we have risen to the challenges presented by the pandemic. On behalf of the Executive Committee and the broader partnership, we would like to say thank you with a special bonus of US$1,500. This will be paid in your local currency in your December salary payment. Please note the payment is subject to applicable local taxation.
This special bonus is independent of the Firm’s annual bonus scheme and will be awarded to eligible Business Services and Legal Services employees in practice support roles who do not participate in the legal bonus scheme. Payments will be pro-rated for anyone who joined during 2020 or who works part-time.
