Biglaw Heavyweight Makes Its Mark On New Associate Compensation

Woohoo! The firm announced a new salary scale much quicker than it did last time.

Another firm bites the dust. As every hour (or 15 to 30 minutes, by our count) ticks by, another firm decides to match the new salary scale. The latest firm to do so is WilmerHale, which came in at No. 29 in the most recent Am Law 100.

To think, the last time salary raises spread through the Biglaw landscape, associates were worried about the firm’s radio silence. Now, the firm has matched less than a day after Cravath gave the new salary scale its seal of approval. Imagine that!
