As is becoming standard among the firms at the top of the Biglaw hierarchy, yet another firm has matched what’s become the new prevailing salary scale. It’s always our pleasure to welcome a new firm full of bright-eyed associates to the land of the $205K market rate. Thanks for joining your peers, Mayer Brown!
At the end of the day yesterday, the No. 22 firm on the most recent Am Law 100 ranking notified associates that it would be matching the Davis Polk scale for U.S. associates, effective July 1. Once again, here’s the new salary scale, in case you’ve somehow forgotten:
- 2020: $205,000
- 2019: $215,000
- 2018: $240,000
- 2017: $275,000
- 2016: $305,000
- 2015: $330,000
- 2014: $350,000
- 2013+: $365,000
