Dear colleagues,

 

On December 23, the firm will be distributing December bonuses in the amounts indicated below. We are happy to again be paying above-market bonuses at all associate class levels.  You might have heard that a number of firms have added an additional “special bonus” to their market bonuses this year. As set forth in the chart below, we have calculated bonuses using those figures (market + “special”) as the baseline, but also adding on top of that an Irell Good Year bonus of $15,000 to $30,000 depending on class year.

 

Additionally, as part of our commitment to associates sharing in the financial success of the firm, we are also continuing our Spring bonus program based in part on profit-sharing. Under this program, all 2021 bonus-eligible individuals who remain associates in good standing will also receive a further supplemental bonus, beyond the amounts below, in April or May after the firm’s financials for fiscal year 2021 have closed.
