International law firm Debevoise & Plimpton just announced its raises — there’s even a special boost for associates from the Class of 2013 and earlier. Maybe they can put the boost in bank toward a bit of COVID-friendly travel?
This scale puts Debevoise in the lead for dictating what off-the-grid compensation should look like. Will other firms follow their lead and offer there more experienced employees even more money? Probably, but time will tell.
