More Raises Makes For Some Pretty Happy Associates
Biglaw firm knows how to make associates smile.
If Biglaw firms are looking for a way to chase away a case of the Mondays, one surefire option is showering associates with big money.
The latest firm to announce a round of associate raises is Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, which took in $2,039,811,000 in gross revenue in 2020 — so they have lots of cash to share with hardworking associates. The firm previously announced a DPW match, but now that Cravath has come over the top of those numbers (for midlevel and senior associates), Freshfields has re-upped associate salaries.
The new scale at the firm is as follows:
