The Biglaw Firm That Kicked Off The 2022 Associate Raises Offers A Second Round Of Raises

No one puts Milbank in a corner.

Money rain, a group of cheering jumping businessmen and a pile of money falling down, financial support and successful business concept illustrationBiglaw associates — from all firms — owe a big ol’ thank you to Milbank. Way back in January, they were the very first firm to offer associates raises, kicking off waves of compensation increases. Sure, Davis Polk came over the top of the Milbank numbers for midlevel and senior associates — and then Cravath came over the top of the DPW scale. But Milbank deserves credit for getting the whole “raise party” started in the first place.

And a firm that leads the Biglaw market like that isn’t about to pay their associates less-than market rates. So, obviously the firm will be matching the highest numbers out there.

The new Milbank scale is as follows:
